Good afternoon everyone! I hope you all have been well! Today I have a lovely blend from essie to share with you. I received this polish as a gift and it is the perfect minty green! Mint Candy Apple is a lovely mint green polish with a fabulous cream finish. This polish is a breeze to work with. I used two coats in my photos but could have easily used just one. I then followed up with one coat of Seche Vite to give it a high gloss shine finish.
I am not the world’s best at wearing a solid cream color, I have to have an accent. I didn’t want to take away from the pretty minty green by adding a glitter top coat so I decided to do so stamping. I am still get the hang of stamping so it’s not perfect but I like it. My biggest problem is waiting long enough for the polish to dry for me to use a top coat. I always end up with some streaks, blah! I used my Konad Metallic Black stamping polish and my DRK-A plate. The DRK plates are the only ones that I have found that work with my nail length! I hope to one day pick up the other plates. They have the cutest designs!
