Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a great Friday. Today is once again rain and clouds, I am beginning to forget what sun is. As much as I love the sun, I also know the long term effects it can have on skin so I thought today would be a great time to share some new products I had the pleasure of trying out. ERA Ageless is a line of very high end skin care products packed with natural ingredients that hope to help reduce the appearance of various aging issues. I had the privilege of trying out their ERA Starter Kit for a full week.
The ERA Ageless Starter Kit includes two .17 fl oz bottles of Repair & Restore Facial Peeling Gel, one .17 fl oz bottle of Elastin & Beta Carotene Mask, one .17 fl oz bottle of Concentrated Age Defense Facial Serum, one .17 fl oz bottle of Intensive Age Defying Moisture Cream, one .17 fl oz bottle of Firm & Lift Eye Serum, and one .17 fl oz bottle of Firm & Lift Eye Cream.
First we will talk about the eye products. The Eye Serum I LOVED it!!! The formula was a dream and felt like silk on my skin. I think long term, dedicated use could have some effect. The Eye Cream was also very easy to apply and absorbed quickly. I have photos below of before and after, you can see a slight difference after a week of daily use.
Next up we will look at the facial products. The Facial Peel Gel was pretty impressive though I only used once during my week trial. It did seem to remove a layer of dead skin and left a smooth finish. The Elastin & Beta Carotene Mask was easy to use but again I only used once during my week trial and did not see any major changes. Both products are recommended to be used 2 -3 times a month so I would most likely rotate weekly between the two. The Facial Serum was okay but really didn’t stand out more than any other serums I have used in the past. The Facial Cream was the most dissatisfying product out of the bunch. I used a small amount each morning but by midday I felt like I had been standing over a deep fryer all day. My skin was extremely greasy and I found my self using oil absorbing sheets multiple times through out the day. Due to the excessive oil producing, I did not see any noticeable difference in my skin. Below we have before and afters of my chin and cheek area.
The Eye serum was certainly my favorite and I can see myself saving up for it. The Face Cream was big no go in my book but everyone’s skin is different. With the convenience of their Starter Kit, you can try out multiple products without breaking the bank. This way you can find what works best for you.
