Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a great day. The groundhog was correct, winter is certainly sticking around a little longer. Today though I have a combo that is sure to warm you up and put a smile on your face. Over the weekend I had asked on Facebook what you guys would like to see on the blog and the first comment requested something warm and sunny, I hope you and them enjoy my take on it.
I started with a base color of OPI Alpine Snow since I was using some bright neons. I then sponged a gradient of OPI Life Gave Me Lemons and Juice Bar Hopping. The colors mixed beautifully and were extremely bright. I then smoothed everything out with a coat of Seche Vite.
So what do you guys think of my warm and sunny nails? You know you are doing something right when you show your husband your nails and he responds that they make him smile! Doing these also gave me a great opportunity to try out my newest purchase, Questionable Browser History by Digital Nails. I have seen the liquid latex post everywhere and even looked at the stuff at Sally Beauty but it was Digital Nails version in blue/teal that made me take the plunge. Questionable Browser History is a liquid latex blend that is sure to make various nail art projects a million times easier! The formula was thin and super easy to work with. One thing I did notice was the brush was a little stiff but I think that may have been due to how the brushes are made and shipped to makers. To fix this I sandwiched the brush in a paper towel and rolled real good between my finger tips. This loosened things up and made application even easier.
So what do you guys think of the new liquid latex craze? I wish we had this years ago! Amazing product and coming from an equal amazing maker is a big win for me! You can pick up Questionable Browser History plus tons of other goodies from Digital Nails and great OPI products from Loxa Beauty. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow. <3
