Overall Beauty Mineral Eye Shadow

26 May

Good evening everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day.  Today I have a first for me and the Model City Blog, I am going to share some eye shadow with you guys.  I just recently did a product swap with the wonderful Kim from Overall Beauty and thought I would share their lovely mineral eye shadow with you guys.  I have never worked with loose mineral powder before but I must say that I am loving it.

For the first photo I am sharing four different lovely shades.  From left to right we have Snow – a lovely white shimmer, Champagne – a soft semi-matte light brown, Swiss Miss – a lovely chocolate brown with a slight purple shimmer, and Paradise – a medium brown eyebrow filler.  All of these were very heavily pigmented and applied beautifully.  In my photo the top is with direct light shinning on the swatches and the bottom is natural indoor lighting.

For the next three swatches we have Velvet – a dark brown semi-matte, Missing Time – a dark blue shimmer with a hint of purple, and Basic Black – a rich black that can be used as eyeliner or eyeshadow.  Again these all applied great.  Same as the other photo, top is in direct lighting and bottom is in indoor natural lighting.

So what do you guys think of these mineral beauties?  I am in love and look forward to trying out more shades and creating some fun looks.  Be sure to check out all of the amazing products Overall Beauty has to offer in both makeup and nail lacquer.  Kim is an absolute doll and they have fantastic customer service so you can shop with confidence.  Thanks a ton for stopping by this evening and I look forward to seeing you guys again tomorrow. <3

I would use those first four on a near-daily basis. So pretty! Just enough shimmer to sparkle but not make you look like you slept with Tinkerbell.

I haven’t had the chance to try it yet but I’m thinking the eyebrow filler may work for me! Yay!
