Empties for September 2016

2 Oct

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday!  I am kicked back watching the October musts, Hocus Pocus and Nightmare Before Christmas, and wanted to drop in for my first empties posts.  Many amazing bloggers have inspired me to start doing a monthly empties posts.  This is a great way to give a full review after long term use and gives me the motivation to use many products that are piling up around the house.  Let’s take a look at me empties for September, only a few because I accidentally threw some away forgetting I needed them.

First up is Clearance Gel from Avéne.  I love this stuff during the summer months but with winter coming on, I will be switching.  While this stuff is great a battling oily skin, it can quickly dry you out.  The gel is a nice consistency for easy control and the scent very light.  Price isn’t too bad considering how large of bottle you get and how long it lasts, I get a good 3 months use.

Next up is the Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo by Living Proof.  I LOVE this dry shampoo!!!  This is a great hair pick me up for those rushed mornings or after a humid walk.  This stuff is kinda pricey but I will certainly be picking up more on my next trip to ULTA.  The smell is pleasant, doesn’t live a sticky residue, and very little white powder after spray.

Now for a product I can’t live without!  Help Me! Retinol Treatment by Philosophy is one of my favorite facial products.  This stuff clears my skin up and certainly helps my skin texture.  If I have the slightest breakout showing up, the Help Me! Retinol Treatment will have it gone overnight.  Now this was my most expensive face product purchase to date but I can say I have been very happy with it and will certainly be throwing more of money to Philosophy.

Lastly we have Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat from SuperChic Lacquer!  I actually finished up a 4 ounce bottle but that was one of my accidental throw aways so an empty bottle will have to do.  Marvel is my go to top coat for everything!  Works great over stamping, smoothing out glitter, fast dry when I’m in a hurry, and super glossy finish.  I don’t know what I would do with out it!  I already have another 4 ounce bottle on my desk and will be using this stuff as long as I can get it!

So what do you guys think of my first empties post?  I hope I can do better in the month of October and save my empties!  I love sharing what I use on a daily basis!  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon!

I need to give the Philoshpy a try ASAP! My daughter had been getting breakouts and we’ve yet to find something that works.

I love it!!! She may experience a slight increase in breakouts the first week but that is because this product is clearing out the pores. After that you are golden!

Their shampoos/conditioners tend to not agree with my hair but this dry shampoo is a different story!

I will have to look into Help Me – I need some help in the face department & skin issues. I still having tried the Super Chic TC, but I have a bottle – I need to bring it out and test that baby! 🙂
