Chevrons with Julep

8 Jan

Good evening!  It is finally Friday and I couldn’t be any happier!!!!  This week it really did feel like I was just working for the weekend!!!!  After being super sick all last week and most of this week, I really need the weekend to recover.  To kick off the weekend right I want to share a super awesome nail combo that I am just in love with.

Now I have a huge love for all things chevron and today’s mani is certainly my favorite so far in the chevron adventure.  For my chevron mani I started with a good base coat of SuperChic Lacquer Bring It On!, and then proceeded with  Julep Ellis, Julep Delores, chevron nail vinyls, and Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.  Both of the Juleps came from my untried pile and I am kicking myself for not using them sooner.  They both applied beautifully, had amazing coverage, and a great scatter holographic effect.

So what do you guys think of my Chevrons?  I love them and both colors from Julep were simply perfect.  Now I am getting low on my chevron nail vinyls and in need of a good supplier.  Who do you go to for high quality vinyls?  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow. <3

Hi Nina, this chevron manicure is really elegant and sparkly, plus these two cold Julep nail polishes look great together 😉
Anyway, it’s that kind of shimmer that isn’t harsh, thus isn’t trivial.
I can’t say a lot about vinyls because I do them by myself with tape and zig-zag scissors… let’s wait for someone else’s advice!
    Have a nice day!
    xoxo

Wow! Those look great! I pretty much love anything purple glitter so these are fantastic.

I used not to love chevrons and now I am obsessed with them! I don’t use vynils though, I prefer stamping.
Love the colours here, too, that purple is gorgeous!
